ABOUT ME

My love of storytelling began on stage as a young actor and in the weekly trips I took to my local cinema. I moved into the music industry as a songwriter, singer and drummer, spending so much of my time on the road writing stories and poems in my notebooks. In 2010 I did an MA in Screenwriting and found that I had a great passion for writing drama and adaptations of true stories and literature. My first screenplay, ACROSS THE LINE, tells the story of my great grandfather’s bravery at the Isle of Man TT and during the first world war as a despatch rider. I’m currently developing a screenplay about Norah Gordon Cleather, the first woman to run Wimbledon and keep it’s spirit alive throughout WW2. JUSTINE was my first feature as a producer and was nominated for a BIFA in 2020. I have lectured in Screenwriting at the Met Film School, Birmingham and Aberystwyth University. I also provide workshops for children and adults looking at the multitude of ways in which the magic of storytelling is truly transformative.
